Product Overview
T8842 is the versatile multi‑function field termination assembly (VFTA/FTA) for Rockwell ICS TRIPLEX Trusted TMR SIS safety‑instrumented system. It is DIN‑rail mounted field‑side termination hardware, working with zone interface module T8448 / T8449, supports software‑configurable 40 channels for AI 4‑20 mA, DI 24 VDC, fire‑gas loop inputs and monitored valve outputs. The 40 channels are divided into 5 independent power groups (8 channels per group), each group with plug‑in fuses for loop‑level fault containment. It provides surge suppression, loop power supply, field wiring termination and circuit diagnostics for F&G fire‑gas and ESD safety loops. Legacy hardware, OEM production discontinued, mainly supplied as spare‑parts for oil‑gas, petrochemical and power‑plant SIS installations.
