Maintenance

  • Routine inspection: Check module LED status, backplane connector and lithium battery condition every 6–12 months
  • Clean module surface with dry compressed air; liquid solvent cleaning is strictly prohibited
  • ESD protection must be adopted during disassembly, anti-static wristband required
  • If controller fault occurs, check battery health, program integrity and CEX bus connection
  • Replace lithium battery periodically to avoid data loss after power down
  • Do not energize the module if PCB corrosion, burn marks or condensation are found
  • We support function testing, refurbishment and spare replacement service for this PM825 processor module

Installation

  1. Hot-swap replacement can be performed following system safety procedure or cut off cabinet power supply.
  2. Wear anti-static wristband to prevent electrostatic damage to PCB components.
  3. Insert PM825 module into the designated CEX bus slot of AC800M rack, lock the fastening latch.
  4. Insert PCMCIA flash card and install lithium battery if required.
  5. Connect Ethernet cable for network communication.
  6. Configure controller parameters, download control program via engineering software.
  7. Restore power supply, verify RUN status and CEX bus communication with I/O modules.
  8. Perform loop test and commissioning; validate control logic and redundant switch function if configured.
