Description
ABB NAMC-01 3BSE015488R1 ACS600 Main Control Board, DTC Drive CPU Unit, ACS600 Variable Frequency Drive Spare Part
Product Application
NAMC-01 is the primary CPU control board for ABB ACS600 series variable frequency drives. It executes ABB’s patented Direct Torque Control (DTC) algorithm, processes motor feedback signals, generates PWM firing pulses, manages digital/analog I/O, fault monitoring and DDCS optical communication. It cooperates with power modules and interface boards to realize closed-loop speed and torque control of AC motors.
- Power plant auxiliary fan & pump ACS600 VFD control
- Petrochemical large pump and compressor variable speed drive system
- Metallurgy rolling mill and material handling motor speed regulation
- Mining conveyor and crusher drive control
- Water & wastewater large pump ACS600 drive retrofit
- Legacy ABB ACS600 inverter maintenance and spare replacement
- Multi-drive synchronous control via DDCS fiber link

Maintenance
- Routine inspection: Check PCB dust accumulation, connector tightness, DDCS fiber and LED status every 6–12 months
- Clean board surface with dry compressed air; liquid solvent cleaning is strictly prohibited
- ESD protection must be adopted during disassembly, anti-static wristband required
- If drive fails to start or DTC related fault alarm occurs, power off and check backplane connector and optical fiber link
- Do not energize the module if PCB corrosion, burn marks or condensation are found
- We support function testing, refurbishment and spare replacement service for this NAMC-01 main control board
Installation
- Cut off all main high voltage and auxiliary 24VDC power supply of VFD, confirm zero voltage and implement lockout-tagout procedure.
- Wear anti-static wristband to prevent electrostatic damage to CPU and optical components.
- Open control cabinet door, release the fixing fasteners of old NAMC-01 board.
- Disconnect flat cables and DDCS optical fibers, mark all cables before removal.
- Insert new board and fasten mounting screws.
- Reconnect all signal cables and optical fibers strictly according to marking.
- Restore auxiliary power supply, perform board self-test and DDCS communication check.
- Download drive parameters, carry out low voltage commissioning, verify motor control and fault protection function before high voltage power-on test.
