Description
GF868-1-2-1-2-1-B-1-4-0-0-0 DigitalFlow GF868 Two-Path Ultrasonic Flare Gas Flow Transmitter
Product Application
GF868 is a high-performance ultrasonic gas flowmeter dedicated for flare gas measurement. It uses transit-time ultrasonic technology to calculate gas velocity, volumetric flow and mass flow, automatically compensating for gas temperature, pressure and molecular weight. This configured model is a two-path meter, improving accuracy for distorted flow profiles on flare lines. It outputs flow data to DCS, PLC or flow computer via analog or digital communication, for environmental emission reporting, flare control and mass balance. Common sites: refinery flare stacks, chemical plant vent lines, combined cycle power plant flare gas monitoring. It can communicate with GE Mark VI/VIe, RX3i, VersaMax and third-party control systems.

Maintenance Instructions
Daily Maintenance Check LCD for meter health, signal quality and flow status; monitor flow alarms in DCS.
Periodic Maintenance (Every 6–12 months) Inspect transducer cables for damage; check transducer seals; verify signal amplitude; backup meter configuration.
Fault Maintenance
- Low signal quality: Check transducer face for coating/contamination, inspect cable integrity and grounding.
- No flow reading: Verify transducer wiring, P/T transmitter signals and meter configuration.
- Communication loss: Check Modbus address, cable shielding and network termination.
- Do not modify gas composition database without process / metering engineer approval, affects mass flow calculation.
Long-Term Operation Tips Keep electronics enclosure temperature -20~+55℃. Backup meter site configuration file. Schedule periodic prover validation per local emission regulation.
